Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange (TRLX) was successful in receiving a $600,000 grant from the Fixing Country Truck Washes program to expand the capacity of the existing truck wash.

The owners of the TRLX facility, RLX, will co-invest in the upgrades allowing the Tamworth facility to handle not only the regions livestock transport vehicles but also trucks of all shapes and sizes that support and service a diverse range of businesses within the region.
This investment is part of a broader service offering that will be rolled out over the next 12 months at the Tamworth facility.

RLX representative, Garry Edwards said, “It is pleasing to see that both the State and Federal Government and the Tamworth Regional Council have thrown their support behind the TRLX facility by co-investing in critical infrastructure for the benefit of the entire region”.

“The TRLX truck wash capacity has now been future proofed for all transport operators, whether they are livestock transporters or other heavy vehicle businesses operating in the region. I would like to personally thank the Tamworth Regional council and Kevin Anderson for their ongoing support to our investment in assets in the Tamworth community,” said Garry Edwards.

TRLX has now firmly established itself as the premier livestock marketing facility within the region and is in the Top 5 facility’s in NSW for overall throughput.
