RLX Weaner Sale Series 2025

The annual Weaner Sales are a significant fixture in the Cattle industry calendar.

For many producers, these sales represent a significant portion of their yearly turnover, and many tailor their operations to ensure their cattle are suitable to market at these prestigious sales. 

Commencing in Wodonga in the first week of January, all eyes in the beef industry are trained on NVLX to get the first indication of market pricing for the year. Feedlots will be active on the heavier end of the weaners, while backgrounders looking to grow cattle out to feedlot weights or finish will purchase a significant portion f the yardings. Plenty of quality heifers on offer will make their way into breeding operations. 

These sales present a significant social and networking opportunity, with buyers travelling long distances to source cattle, producers attending to watch with pride as their cattle are presented for sale, an array of industry representatives around to make new connections and provide valuable information to industry stakeholders.
